We encourage presenters to take full advantage of visual aids through the use of computer monitor projection (e.g. Power Point presentations). Oral papers (20 minutes, discussion included) will be selected from submitted abstracts.
The Congress Organizing Committee believes that Posters provide an excellent means for scientific communication and personal interaction. Posters will remain on display throughout the Congress and Poster Sessions (including lunch) will be held each day from noon to 2 pm. Presenters will be provided an area of approximately 1.2 m (height) by 1.0 m (width) to display their posters.
Those who require the use of a table, or wish to give demonstrations or larger commercial
exhibits must contact the organizing committee (firstname.lastname@example.org) in advance of the conference.
The number of posters that can be programmed is limited to approx. 200 if the number of submitted poster abstracts exceeds this limit, acceptance will be in order of entry.
To assist Scientific Program Committee, Registrants should identify the Symposium Topic closest to their Abstract at the time of its submission. All Abstracts will be accepted unless the Organizing Committee assesses their content to be unrelated to agriculture and irrigation sciences, or to be defamatory or otherwise inappropriate.
Abstracts should contain new information of high scientific standard, not previously published in a scientific journal. The information should be a summary of experimental results, concise and in clear English or Arabic. Abstracts will be selected under the authority of the National Committee. Abstracts must be submitted in English or Arabic only as a MS Word document (or other compatible format) before JANUARY 31st 2019 either as a file on CD or as an e-mail attachment (to Scientific Committee of Agriculture and Irrigation in the Nile Basin Countries Conference, Minia University, El-Minia, Egypt, Eg-61519) to:
email@example.com, or upload it using the following abstract submission form. Hard copies (paper or fax) of the Abstracts unaccompanied by a computer file will not be accepted. Each abstract must follow these guidelines (example of AINBC 2019 Abstract).
Incomplete or unclear abstracts will not be considered.
1. Title (in SENTENCE CASE, no more than 25 words).
2. The name(s) of author(s) in UPPER CASE letters (the name of presenting author should be underlined), institute, city, country and email address. The affiliations of each person should be provided (using superscripts of sequential numbers if more than one).
3. The body of the abstract (no more than 250 words).
4. Nominated Symposium Topic
5. One contact person, with a current full postal address, email address (where possible), phone and fax numbers - including country and area codes.
6. All abstract submissions are due by JANUARY 31st 2019.
Abstracts will only be published in the booklet of abstracts, and contributions will only be programmed in the conference programme, if registration fees are received at the conference secretarial before February 28th 2019. Normally, one paper per participant will be included in conference proceedings, who would like to present more than one paper must contact the organizing committee in advance of the conference firstname.lastname@example.org. Acknowledgement of receipt of all emailed abstracts will be made by return email. The Scientific Program Committee intend making all decisions relating to selection of Symposium Speakers from those presenting Abstracts by 1st February 2019. Notification of outcomes will be sent by email or fax to the nominated contact person only.
The conference will publish its accepted papers (orals and posters) as the 3rd Minia International Conference for Agriculture and Irrigation in the Nile Basin Countries Proceedings. The submissions will be peer-reviewed with publication within the proceedings subject to the decision of the Scientific Committee of the 3rd Minia International Conference for Agriculture and Irrigation in the Nile Basin Countries email@example.com . In keeping with the policies of the African Crop Science Journal, the full papers will be in English or Arabic language (with Arabic or English or French abstract," in language other than which wrote the full paper"). All presenters are expected to prepare their submissions to the congress proceedings in a format consistent with the style of the past ACSS Conference proceedings (see, Rules for the Presentation of Complete Papers and Conference Speeches) The paper should be double-spaced, between 6 to 10 pages in length (Extra pages than 10 will be charged), excluding tables and figures and submitted to the organizers on CD computer word processing file (MS Word) or e-mailed firstname.lastname@example.org. Colored Photographs may only be included through special arrangement with the editor email@example.com. An author receiving editorial recommendations for revision could upload, it the revised manuscript as a Microsoft Word document using the form below, (max. 600 Kilobytes) or send it via mail. Generally, computer file (CD or e-mail) of the full papers unaccompanied by hard copies will not be accepted.
